DAY 1: DAMMAM (ARRIVAL)Arrival at DAMMAM International airport, after formalities, you will be able to direct yourself to the car rental area at the BUDGET car rental counter, or just pick up your car in BUDGET outlet downtown DAMMAM. After the car formalities are done, you will receive the keys, and you will be ready to discover the region. Drive to your hotel. Check in at hotel. Overnight in DAMMAM.
DAY 1: DAMMAM (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Start your tour by visiting the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture for a photo stop. It rises 90 meters from the desert. The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture, also known as Ithra, is situated in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. It was built by Saudi Aramco and inaugurated by King Salman bin Abdulaziz on December 1, 2016. Then visit Al-Fan Sharqy Art Center in Dhahran and Baniya Square, where young Saudi artists transformed the streets into a giant canvas of graffiti. Continue to Tayeb Museum in Al Khobar, a two-storey museum showcasing vintage toys, games, posters, televisions, cameras, and branded containers from the 1970s onward. Then visit Jumeirah Inn on Palm Tree Plaza, housing a museum, a craft-filled market with Arabian perfumes, incense, woven baskets, and local artifacts, and a restaurant-café serving traditional local fare. Overnight in DAMMAM.
DAY 3: DAMMAM – UQAR – AL HOFUF (150 km) (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to the Arabian Sea at the old port of Uqair on Half-Moon Bay, built by the Ottomans in the 17th century. Continue to the desert of Al-Ahsa, starting with a viewpoint over Yellow Lake, named after the surrounding dunes. Discover sabkha landscapes typical of the Eastern Province, then drive through dunes and sabkhas to Hofuf. Set in an oasis with over 2 million palm trees, Al Hofuf is a leading date producer. Return to Dammam. Dinner at leisure and overnight in DAMMAM.
DAY 4: AL AHSA – RIYADH (326 km) (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Discover Al-Hofuf, the main city of Al-Ahsa, the world’s largest oasis with more than 2.5 million palm trees fed by an underground aquifer. Visit key sites including the Great Mosque, Heritage Palace, and Ibrahim Palace. Drive to Riyadh. Dinner at leisure and overnight in RIYADH.
DAY 5: RIYADH (50 km) (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the National Museum, then Murabba Palace and Dirah Square (Masmak Fort), birthplace of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Continue to Al Murabba Palace. Dinner at leisure and overnight in RIYADH.
DAY 6: RIYADH – USHAIGER – BURAYDAH (360 km) (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to the heritage village of Ushaiger, known for traditional Najdi architecture. Continue via Mithna and Al-Ghat to Buraydah, capital of Al-Qassim Region, located between the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf at the edge of Ad-Dahna desert. Arrival, dinner at leisure, overnight in BURAYDAH.
DAY 7: BURAYDAH – HAIL (280 km) (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the world’s largest camel market in Buraydah, then the camel racing track. Drive south crossing desert landscapes and the pre-Islamic city of Faid. Pass Jebel Aja granite formations and Harrat Al-Hutaymah lava fields. Drive to Hail. Lunch on arrival, check in, overnight in HAIL.
DAY 8: HAIL – JUBBAH – AL ULA (585 km) (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Jubbah, an ancient lake site with Middle Paleolithic settlements, sandstone outcrops, petroglyphs, and inscriptions. Continue to Al Ula. Early evening arrival and check in at desert camp. Overnight in AL-ULA.
DAY 9: AL ULA (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Discover Al-Ula, an ancient oasis inhabited for 7000 years. Visit Jebel Ikmah, the open-air museum of inscriptions, and sites of Ekmah and Abu ‘Awad. End the day at Harrat Al-Uwayrid viewpoint. Overnight in AL-ULA.
DAY 10: AL ULA – MADINAH SALEH – MADINAH (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Hegra (Madain Saleh), Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, the southernmost Nabatean city with 94 decorated tombs. Drive to Madinah. Check in and overnight in MADINAH.
DAY 11: MEDINA TO JEDDAH (420 km) (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Half-day visit of Madinah, one of Islam’s holiest cities, including Al Masjid an Nabawi and surrounding landmarks. Drive to Jeddah. Lunch on arrival, check in, overnight in JEDDAH.
DAY 12: JEDDAH (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Al-Balad (UNESCO World Heritage) with coral stone houses and Roshan windows, Beit Nassif, Old Market, and Old Mosque. Drive along Jeddah Corniche, pass Al Rahmah Mosque (Floating Mosque), and King Fahd’s Fountain. Overnight in JEDDAH.
DAY 13: JEDDAH – DEPARTURE
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Jeddah International Airport. Return the car at BUDGET RETURN parking and proceed to departure.
